hi all, i was just surfing on some pool sites and i found these 2 interesting things;

http://www.samsaracues.com/uploads/cues/big/1409big.jpg

this is the 1409 samsara. for me its the most beautifull cue ive ever seen.
as im new to pool, can anyone tell me if u can just buy them? or are these one of a kind cue's?

second is the new samsara barcue line they where launching in 2005. but on there site it still says... comming soon. anyone played with one of these? or know when they will be coming out and where i could buy them?

SAMSARA Cues

I have admired Samsara cues for years. The work is simply amazing. I have never it with one though, Anyone out here with any info on how a SAMSARA cue plays?

They are custome cues. You have to order one or buy one second hand.

so if one day i am rich , i could just order that 1409 model???
*goes off to win the national lotery*

ps still need some info on the barcuecom line they said they would start. same quality for 1/5th of the price cant be very bad...

I have a Samsara (my avatar is the butt of the my Samsara).

Samsara is renound for their beautiful cues, and many play with them as well.

I always thought it had the same feel as my Viking, and many here would concur with this.

If I may say, most people willing to shell out that kind of cash usually have a very good idea what they want in a cue.

Why not start out with their Barcue line that sells for $400.00 to see if that's what you like in a cue. Likewise, you will always have a cue that you can enjoy when you go to some of the less than perfect bars or pool halls in seedy areas where carrying a $2,000 cue is not that appealing of an option.

Trust me that it kind of blows when you have to look over your shoulder as you walk out of a pool hall to see if somone is following you to bash you over your head for your cherished cue. Read around, it does happen.

GRegg, the barcue is the 2d part of my first post :) ive seen them but havent seen any place where they sell them yet, and i wonder if they play as well as the 2000$ versions samsara

Samsara Cues are fantastic!

I have been a Samsara Cues Player Representative for the past 5 yrs. Any Samsara cue you see on their site can be purchased outright, unless it says it is sold. In that event, they will construct another one, to your specifications. Joey described the feel perfectly...stiff shaft, soft hit. Samsara Cues are truly beautiful, and their designs have never been copied by anyone else, mostly due to the complexity. I have not seen the "barcue" line, but I'm going to say that it will play every bit as good as my $4000 custom. :D

Barcue playing as well?

I've never seen a fancy inlay win a game for someone. But you know that!@#

That's their whole selling point. Quality of thier high end cues without the high end price from all of thier inlay and splicing work.

silly solly in full action :D

now u go to that samsara guy, go kick some serious @##, and tell them to start selling them quick :)

the name is barcuecom 2005 but in 30 days we are 2006. They make a hell of good cues, but they arent the greatest math wizards. :p

Just saw at the pool hall this weekend a Schick that said value was $3,500. Glad to see someone with a more expensive cue than mine at the pool hall. Kind of comforting.

thats where I got the picture from guru  , but they dont sell it. they just mention it. the only one ive seen till now is a philipine guy on ebay who had 4 to sell but only shipped to his own country. dont think they are officially for sale yet... :( to bad, they look like being the next cue every newcomer will want. cheap, good, and good looking.

Huh? Your picure was of the fancy 1409. I was pointing out where there were some "barcues" by Samsara. If they aren't for sale, then they've sure got a funny way of displaying them, with prices and all.
