New Lucasi Hybrid Cues?

My friend has one if these cues and prefers to play with it over several custom cues he owns. He's a strong player and just likes the feel of the cue. I hit a few balls with it and to my surprise it felt pretty good. It's not nothing to look at it...but if it works...go for it.

I like it. Not for me but the idea.

Finally a 'modern' looking take on a cue that's more or less technology based .

Not everyone currently outside the sport thinks a nice end table would make a good cue. :D This might be for them. ;)
Gee maybe this one has a responce trigger? Noticed you made Custom Markers? I use to be very much so into paintball. Coulda went pro...
Comman indifferences sure do kill good things.

Lucasi Guarantees Cues Purchased From an Authorized Lucasi Retailer or Distributor Be Free of Defects in Material and Workmanship, Including Warpage, Defects in Finish, For the Lifetime of the Cue. Lucasi Does Not Warranty it's Product Against Third-Party Damage or Excessive Breakage.

Since they don't honor the guarantee against third part damage - What would happen if the cue was damaged at the first or second party I went to?

Can't wait for the first "I love my Lucasi Hybrid with an OB-1 shaft upgrade" post...
Jon
ps. I'm guilty of at least one raving OB-1 review...

If you believe the Lucasi hyp, you will never have to practice again. Even a novice can run a table with this cue. Oh well, I guess I just wasted a lot of money on a custom. Damn!

The league player mentioned earlier is a friend of mine. I played several racks with the hybrid and yes he has an OB-1 on it. It is the best balanced Lucasi I have ever picked up. It has a great feel, very simular to a Schon. It shoots great and no complaints from me on it. For someone who has not decided on exactly what they want or have limited resorces, I would not hesitate to recomend this stick for a transition cue. Just my opinion.

OK, those cues look , err dare I say, feminine.

LOL....

I do think the grip could actually feel pretty good... I have not used one, but I have the same grips on one of my sets of irons

......I liked the look in sorta a "Hip to be Square" way but alas, the hit was not to my taste-Too bad. Might just take some gettin used to as the butt feel is so different.

IMO I like the fact that these cue comp., shaft comp, tip comp, ball comp., felt comp, chalk comp are bringing new ideas to the sport its like any hobbie the more options you got to make your cue straighter lighter jump better masse better the better youll be, and that thinking brings new people to the sport a lot of people like to tweak things and just have options. so I say bring it on!!!!!

Yeah, that's sorta what I think about the look of it. I just naturally gravitate to cheesy and ugly looking cues.
They look like an alien f'd a firefly and the firefly gave birth.

They look kind of ridiculous. Instead of Lucasi improving upon thier product, they end up doing this.

Trying to make it look like a golf club... unbelievable.
I think they need to incoprorate a gyroscopein the butt end to keep the cue path straighter.
