New member, old 9' table brought back to life.

Table

I don't know much about that exact table but I do know that k66 cushions came out about or around the 1960's but many of cushions manufactures made a "number66" cushions for a long time but is not the K66 as we know it today.

The slate pocket cut don't look antique.

As for the table ID... I don't know, several tables in those times resembled other tables and mostly looked alike.
My wild guess... AE Schmidt

Any labels or markings on the old cushions?

Looks good and your happy is all that matters, looks like you've did some homework.

Nice job on the table .
Few things are more satisfying than a full restore with your own hands .
Plus knowing your table inside and out is a huge boon when it comes to repair issues.

The table came from somewhere in your area I presume ?( VT)
It looks familiar but I can't put my finger on it ....I will poke around and see if I can find some info about it for you.

Edited to add: do you still have any of the old cushions you removed?
If so, can you post a pic of the brand name on the old cushion?
And if you still have any of them, save me one.

I dont have any cushions left. And i dont remember seeing a brand on them. They may have been the no.66 idk. I just ordered the cushions with the closest profile to them and they are right on the money for nose to table height. And i got the table from Kittery ME. But idk where the guy's grandfather lived that the table came from. I am glad the pockets came out at the right width tho. I cant fit 2 balls thru. As far as the pocket cut out on the slate that was not done very well. I had to go in with a dremel and smooth and even them out.

New light kit for the billiard table!!

That is a beautiful restore. I bought a junker once & revised it to be a beautiful table. It was a LABOR OF LOVE for a couple years.

Yes i did. Its a lot faster putting the cloth on the second time lol. Only took like half an hour to refelt.

Oh and by the way that closet you see is going to be turned into a walking fridge for kegs. Bar will be to the left of the dart board.
