How long did it take you to get your cue? I am thinking of getting one of these myself.
In hand about two and half weeks from my initial inquiry:)

Greg

Ok...I'll probably catch hell for this, but I think that McDermotts are probably the worst cues on the market (or perhaps second behind Stealth) in terms of quality and playability.

not from me....I had a guy ask me at league the other night what kind of cue I was playing, and when I told him JOSS, and that I paid around $200 for it he asked, "why didn't you get a McDermott for that price?" I just replied with, "cuz I hit them both side by side." :) My P-29 might be a "production" (dirty word) cue, but I like the way it plays, so, no appologies!

That's funny... I paid $150 for a birdseye PJ McDermott for my wife (who loves it, btw), and I have used this when I didn't have any of my cues readily available (due to extensive travel)... I have won probably $500 with this cue using a stock tip as well.

I personally think they are a pretty good cue for the money.

Joss are among the best production cues that have ever existed, only on par with Schon.

I played with a steath jump break the other day, it had two shafts, a jump break with a G10 tip, and a playing shaft. The cue actually hit awesome, and the finish looked better than some "custom" cues I've seen. I wouldn't have minded owning one of those cues.

As far as McDermott goes? They arent the same company they once were IMO...
