New On Q case for my collection: what a monstrosity

Here are pictures of my On Q case that I got from Bill Grassley. It is big, heavy and quite a monstrosity. But I love it.

It holds 11x22. Nice handle on the side and one on the top. The main part of the case is black lizard with long white lizard spears for inlays. Super soft and thick layer of sheepskin inside the lid for protection.

I wanted something to hold all of my nicer cues instead of having them strung out among several smaller cases. I never have to take it out of the house unless I'm going to a big event like DCC or VF.

Thanks to Mr. Grassley as always. :)

jimmy, that's the nicest dealer case i've ever seen. and with your cues, it's a great match. i see a couiple of shafts without protectors, you better call joe.

What I really see are some empty slots.
Might have to see what I can sell to Jimmy since he is in such a buying mood lately.

Nice case - was that a custom made case or something they had to offer to Bill?

Wow, ive seen these on his site before. Can u even carry that thing over your shoulder with all the cues in it?

Hey Marcus,
I weighed the case completely full. 11 butts, 22 shafts all with joint caps. All my cues weigh in at 19.0-19.5oz. So I think it was a "pretty" good measuring stick. The beast came in a hair under 30lbs. The case itself was right at 13lbs.

Wouldn't want to carry the SOB around too much.

THANKS FOR THE INFO. IT WEIGHS JUST A HAIR MORE THAN THOSE STANDARD DEALERS CASES, SO IT'S ACTUALLY NOT THAT BAD.

Actually, I don't mind the weight at all. It probably won't come out of the house more than 4-5 times a year. I think for my personal situation it is a very practical fit.

That thing would never leave my sight. I would be afraid to have that many nice cues in one spot.

Yeah, it would make you kind of nervous. But, they better be really quick or be ready for some action. :D

LISA, YOUR AWESOME. I HAD NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT USING A CLUB CART, NOW I GOTTA HAVE ONE OF THESE MADE.

Get a nice club cart, put some spinners on the wheels, black powdercoat that bad boy; strap your case in, and you be pimpin'! :D
