8' is not a "pro size"...9' is. 8' (or what they call an oversized 8' which has more playing surface) are good compromise if your room can't fit a 9' and you don't want the 7' (bar sized) table.

FYI, The term "Pro 8" is an industry term for oversized 8. It is used by at least one major US table manufacturer. It is not a reference to the caliber of player.....
