Alright, look, I admit it. I couldn't help myself. When I finished yours, I was tempted to keep it cuz it looked so good. If it helps defend me, this one only has 2 silver rings in the butt!! =)

The PMs are flowing this morning.

I have a $300 bidder. If you want in, better email or PM me by 4pm today (CST). The high bid at 4pm takes it.

Beautiful, clean conversion, that's for sure. What material are the rings in at the butt end above the buttcap?

That's light tan phenolic. The color blends well with purpleheart.

Thanks!

Is it the same phenolic as used at the joint? If so, it must be picking up the color of the brass rings as in your photo, it looks like a different material from the joint material. Very clean look, someone will be getting a nice cue here.

Same phenolic in the joint, yes. There are no brass rings. They are silver. The photo probably has some light reflection going on or something.

It does look very clean. I have to give Roger (buddha162) the credit for that. I built a cue to his specs a few months back, which this cue follows after. VERY clean design, Roger!

I like this cue, JW. Very clean looking. Would never know it started life as a Dufferin if not for the mapleleaf. You will have to have you some "JWP" buttons made to pop into that spot.

Thanks, Joe.

I sometimes cover the logo, but I think on some of them it adds a little class when everything comes out clean and perfect like that. Besides, I ain't one to try and fool someone about what it really is or anything.

Dufferins are probably the best blanks you can buy anyway. Why not advertise that it is what it is...lol. Every other source I have used (no names necessary) has glue gaps in the points, uneven splicing, wood's not dried correctly, and other headaches. Dufferins are no headache at all and the hit is off the chart.

Thank you JW, and let me add it was a design perfectly executed...great finish and super attention to detail.

Remember guys, my Petree SP took a trip with me to Taiwan this past summer for 3 months, in brutal heat and humidity...and didn't move, check, warp at all. None of the rings raised even slightly, and the cue plays solid as a rock.

Thanks Roger.

Current high bidder has $300 on the counter. Less than 2 hours to go. Deadline 4pm CST. Any more bids?

JWP

300 is STILL CHEAP!!!

Believe me, ya'll....300 bones for this cue is a real deal. I got mine a couple days ago (with a linen wrap added)....and JW's conversion cues are PHENOMENAL.

You can't go wrong......PERIOD!

Oh, now we got trix goin on here. I won't disclose names... but I have one guy at $300 who says that he wants to be contacted should he get outbid because he IS willing to pay more if necessary.

I have another guy who wants to place a "snipe" bid at 3:59 pm of $325.

Public opinion poll ... NOW WHAT ?? LMAO.

OK - I admit it! I be "el sniper".

So now that my $325.00 is on the table, if the other buyer wants to bid$350.00 - fine. I might not go to $375.00 :D :D

(This is waaaay more fun then Ebay!!)
