New poolhall just opened up in northwest georgia, It's called strokers it's been open for about two weeks now, they have 4 new 8 footers and about 10 new "opened up" valley barboxs with new cloth, They dont serve alcohol yet but will be in about a month the owner says. The owner seems pretty nice. They have tournaments every sunday. Pool is $8 an hour, and i think its $5 all the pool you can shoot from 11am until 8 pm. And smoking is allowed. Its the best pool hall ive been too in northwest Georgia.

What street is this room on? I live near Cedartown about 30 miles south of Rome and need a nice room to shoot in. They opened a two-table room in Cedartown but put red cloth on the tables and I cannot abide it. What kind of tables do they have? Simonis cloth?

great(said sarcastically, caustically even!!!)!! fine! i go to rome every saturday for about two years, do a layover there, get up and then come back to hickory, nc. i don't have that run anymore AND:NOW they open up a poolroom! yeah, great.
seriously, one was needed. seeing all kinds of people hanging out with not much to do was sad. maybe i will get there sometime. best to all there.

On Shorter Ave. across from brusters. I think its simonis, i know its real flat and smooth and rolls fast.
