8. i played a guy for a dollar a game for about two years and never won, never. well he left town for about a year and my game exploded during that year. when he came back i saw him spottin people left and right and i stepped up and handed him his ass. throughout the next few months i wound up spottin him the 7 and i still win at that game. the guy that would terrorize me and talk shit about it now wants to stake me whenever he finds someone he cant beat!!!!!!!!!
9. dont remember my first b&r but i remember my first three pack. it was playin for 10 bucks a game and had my dad watchin me play for the first time. i walked around with my chest puffed out the rest of the night.

1: Yes
2: practice - 4, leaugue - 3
3: Yes, cheap
4: $30
5: Yes (Dennis Taylor's book) and yes
6: Same as league play or tournament imo
7: No
8: Winning the Team National's, as a team we won all our 7 matches, I
won all my 12 matches. I made the last ball in the tournament even
though I couldn't see it because of the nerves.
9: I broke the rack and potted all the balls, I can't even remember that
but I'm sure that's how it went.

1. Have you ever had a break and run?

Yes, many times!

2. What was your largest pack (Practice or against an opponent)?

Against opponents - 5 in 9 ball on a 9 footer (first game was BIH on an ugly 1/9 combo, then I ran out the set) and 6 consecutive BR's in 8 ball and the guy quit me (8 footer).

3. Do you gamble? If so, cheap or expensive or both?

No, only if asked to. Virtually every time I have gambled, it was because someone else thought they could beat me. I have to say, I only remember losing once. :) Edit: Make that twice. I forgot once I was in Canada and just told I had cancer and I went off to Kathie MacDonald. :(

4. How much have you ever won in one night?

Not counting tournaments where I have won $2000 twice (IPT was once), $200+ twice playing $5/game. I told you I don't gamble much!

5. Have you ever read a book to help you improve your game and has it helped?

Yes, I think I own them all, but have not finished them all. The No Time for Negative by Jimmy Reid video had the most impact on my game.

6. Do you think gambling will help/hurt/do nothing to your game?

I think to get stronger, you need to put yourself on the line and in situations to perform under pressure. Tournaments and gambling will do that for you.

]7. Have you won a singles tournament before?

Yes, both men's and women's many times.

8. What was your best moment shooting pool?

Too many to recount here. Maybe getting 2nd in VNEA Internationals? Missed 1st by one jawed ball. :(

9. Can you describe your first break and run against an opponent. if so, lets hear it.

I can't remember, but I do remember after my first 8ball break and run, over 30 years ago, being totally wrung out, mentally exhausted!

Just thought these few questions would be fun.

Thanks, that was fun.
