Yea, I hear ya on the band..thats a NO GO...as for music...i disagree...I think a jukebox would add to the place..I was thinking satelite radio also....but I dont think for the crown nowadays, they need some music..cause they get 2 board 2 easily...I have played in a old pool hall in Columbus Ga when i started learning to play pool back in 1991 and they had no music...it was ok for me..because I was serious and wanted to concentrate..even if they had music...i would have blocked it out....so a jukebox in my pool room..yes...band no thanks for your input

Keep the volume reasonable. The place I play has all the speakers up with the pool tables and none down in the bar area/front desk area. The volume control is at the front desk where there are no speakers. So depending upon who is working the front desk they crank it up so that they have the volume they like at the front desk, but up by the tables it is deafening.
BTW, I love all types of music, but can't stand even my favorite artists when the volume is too loud.

I have recently been going to Northeastern State University to the Cue Bowl...it has a gameroom, 9 lane bowling alley, 10 9' Gold Crowns and a 10' GC Snooker Table...the tables are actually quite nice....cost 2.00/hr to play...just hate driving 38 miles 1 way to play pool.....

Sorry to hear that you guys are dying for shooters.....
