In an era when pool rooms are closing, a new one has emerged in Gaithersburg, MD called 7 Billiards Shady Grove.

It has brand-new Diamond tables and good lights for the serious players.

I have not been there yet, but those who have say it's great. It is located at 5966 Shady Grove Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20877; phone, (301) 355-6177.

Nice. I like the simple, clean layout. Using the bricks and the overhead hardware stuff is very cool.

Beautiful. What's better than walking into a poolroom when they first open with the lights shining over those beautiful blue tables?

And bless its heart, the tables are all regulation size, not those little 7 ft. toy tables you're starting to see everywhere else. I just hope they'll have weekly 9 ball tournaments.

I'm sure it fills a nitch out there since more places have closed out that way than anywhere else , hope it become half as successful as those kiddy table bars :rolleyes:

Here's hoping they throw a few open tournaments from time to time...maybe a chips tourney or king of the hill series...I can't play league (work), don't gamble anymore and the open tournaments are a little scarce. This looks like a really nice place to hang out!

Very nice and clean setup. It may be something I may copy when deciding what to do if I want to open up a hall. I hope they know how to cater to the casual crowd as that will help out way more vs the serious pool player.

Best of luck to them.

Simple!! ?

hmmm....

Diamond's feature for a bridge cue does seem simple.

What do you think came first; a Light Fixture or lets play?

That brick wall will be a good place for all of the history that could be made there.

re.

Pure genius. The bridge holder is their dual purpose 1p ball holder too.
Hahahahaha.

And:
Google maps doesn't seem to like the address. Places it in a residential area that is bordered by 9912 and 17000 of shady Grove Rd.

Caveat drivor

Looks like address is actually 15966. Website 7billiards.com

I wish jam would learn how to type. Sheesh.
