Over Christmas, I was in Colorado Springs, CO for a couple of days, and I was surprised to find a pool room in the downtown (?) area called The Crooked Cue. It's a couple of blocks east of I25 which runs North-South through the city. The bartender said the tables were five months old:

7 x 9' blue label Diamonds with Tournament Blue cloth, black rails.
1 x 10' CraftMaster with Tournament Blue cloth, skinny rails made of tan wood. Probably a used table when installed.
11 x 7' Diamonds with Tournament Blue cloth, black rails.

New style rectangular lights overhead.
Aramith ball sets. Measles cue balls. Two tray Diamond ball polisher.
When you play on the 10', you get a Brunswick Centennial ball set with an Aramith red label cue ball. Classy.

Friendly players and staff.

Hours: 11am-1:30am every day
$3/hr 11am - 5pm

This place looks awesome. Just a short 13.5 hour drive for me...

LOVE this on their site. Wish more places were stricter with table rules.

I have caught a lot of resistance on here when I’ve shared that at our poolroom, for the entire 29 years we’ve been open we strictly don’t permit players to eat while playing, and of course we don’t allow drinks to be placed on the pool table rails.

The reason for the rule is obvious to all our players that truly care about the condition of our tables and cloth. However, we don’t go as far as threatening them with a $500 fine, although the cost to recover a table is more like $700.

In all honesty I doubt I'd be sick of pool ! I miss playing pool on a 9' table and if given a chance to play on a 10' table I'd even use my own Brunswick Centennial pool balls .

Sadly I'd run out of money before I would be tired of playing pool , I once did get to play at Colfax Billiards Lounge , a interesting neighborhood but fantastic tables , sadly I hear it's been closed down and the tables sold off where are the those places you mentioned at ? In case I win the lottery and can get down there .

These will be on my bucket list of places to stop in and play a few racks and even better if I could be there when a tournament was going on even if I'd be at a disadvantage by not getting to play on any 9' tables .

I don't know about Wyoming but, those spots near Denver are swimming with sharks😂
Lots of guys between 650-750 fargos

nice looking room. two things it needs to change, chairs near the tables not couches. but its a complete entertainment venue with good looking food.

but i feel outraged when they require me to have to put up say a credit card ,cash or drivers license to play. its an insult to me.

when i see that i say to them would you feel fine going into a restaurant and they require a cash deposit or a credit card before you order in case you run out on them. or any other business.

The biggest problem with letting anyone hold your credit card is that they have the number and the 3 digit security code,no way I'm doing that anywhere.

I thought they had one or two
I looked at their website and there were 9’ tables in the pictures there. Not sure how many. Plus the 7’. I’ll be in Denver on a short trip this week but won’t get there. 5% chance of getting to Felt. Probably no pool this time, not bringing a cue etc…. But will probably get back there more in the next few years. Sounded like the tournament they had at Piazza a while back was a cool tournament.

I was there a year or two ago. Played a weekly. 12 bar tables 2 9', all diamonds. Something like that.
