Wow that looks great, wish we had something half equivalent around here. Are those Diamond lights too? Good luck with your new venture.

Oh yea we have very little humidity joey in our area dry air. I'm trying my hardest to accomadate the pool player but sometimes it seems like no matter what we do they are so unappreciative.

I'm in the tri-cities for a few days and will try and get over to this place later today.

Edited: Oops wrong thread...

Looks like a fantastic pool room, I'd shoot there if I lived near you.

unfortunatly it appears to me that these guys are out of business already. I've called 411, searched the net and the only thing I can find is the myspace page that has no address or phone number. Does anyone have any info on this place?

I'm looking in the phone book and it is supposed to be beside the Sure Shot Billiard supply store which is on 5510 W. Clearwater Ave. I guess I'll drive by and take a look to see if it's open!

Nicotine Patches and Nicotine Gum etc

No Smoking state of washington has a ban. We have only been open for about 3 weeks now and are not completely finished with putting the room together. As of right now we are only selling snacks and softdrinks. We are really looking to cater to the pool players. So if anyone can help with increasing traffic in the room. We have had a lot of positive feedback with those who have been coming in and they have been coming back. As far as our local pool community they tend to stay away.

I've always thought it would be a smart idea for pool room owners to sell over the counter, cigarette cessation drugs like the Nicotine patches.

I don't know if there is some special liability or if it requires a special license but I would think that pool room owners could keep customers in their establishments for a longer period of time and maybe even help them kick the nicotine habit.

The nicotine patch really takes the edge off of nicotine addiction and even if it is only temporary, it would help to keep the customer in your place of business and help keep them from becoming ornery. And I have to imagine, it is another revenue stream. I would talk to the people who know to find out if you need any special liability insurance or license to sell this product.

Yeah, but it's smarter to own the pizza joint. That's a great revenue stream but some people just don't like the hard work that goes into running a pizza business.

:nono: This is some VERY BAD INFORMATION that you have provided. I called the number after googling the name of the Billiards-Aire Club and got the retail side of the business and they informed me that the pool room is still operating and are next door. Their phone number is 509-783-4071.

Well done, I think if they are trying to bring clients into the biz we should not have to go through 5 different channels to find the number. I know they are new but that would be the first thing I cahnged if they are wanting to promote biz, maybe it's just me being old fashioned. I am realy glad that they are still open though,

Joey I also said "it appears to be out of biz" Since I called 411 and looked on the net etc. I had no idea I was supposed to call the retail to get the room. Just figured it was done, again I am happy they are open as others were asking also.

Yup, I just went by and they are open. I talked to the manager who's a nice guy and told him I'd be back over after my errands are done. It's a pool player's room with 7-8 nice 9' diamond tables. There's not too many extras though (no bar or restaurant). I'll probably be back over this evening when I can spend a few hours there. Hopefully I'll be able to play some locals.

I highly recommend stopping by and playing a few racks with John Duclos. He used to be a world class 14.1 player. He plays a little one-pocket as well. John is very entertaining and has a ton of stories to tell. The only problem would be getting John to stop talking and shoot. Just kidding! He is full of knowledge and is always willing to share it. Ask him about rack shots in 14.1. He might be the best ever at picking dead balls out of a rack! No exageration! Bill Stock

no we are still open and we located on 5510 W. Clearwater AVE Kennewick, WA 99336. Also there is a B tournament in town this weekend 1000 dollar added not at our place oh if you make it in tell John he is working that Augie sent you
