New room in Texas?

Rumors abound about a new room in Texas to open soon - Billy C and others involved. Live internet video of big money games, challenge matches, etc...

Any updates?

The target date for opening is May 15th and I will know more about that next wednesday or Thursday.

The Diamond tables are in place and Greg Sullivan of Diamond products came down and did the set-up himself.

I played on them and they play GREAT.

Yes, there will be live internet coverage available and we hope to offer tournament caverage, challenge matches, and instructional viewings as well.

The room is alive and IS coming SOON. Many details have to worked out and I will post them as they come available to me.

It is going to be special though.

I wonder are they letting people in to check it out yet?

First time I went to Tucson in the mid-seventies, Weldon Rogers and Julian Smith were about two weeks away from opening "Old Pueblo" - we kids got to hang around, run for coffee and stuff, and it was great fun seeing it come alive. Great little action room for several years too. Gone now I guess...
 
well certain people are able to check the new room out, i can tell you this the diamond tables are spread out, and its going to be a players room , good equipment and a good playing environment.
 
I'll have to check it out for sure...really like the way the diamonds play.

Take 635 to Plano Rd and turn east to the 1st light and turn right and it is on the right side. Right accross from a Tezaco convienient store.

From what I can gather, he is okay, just laying a little low for a while.

I' ll be in Dallas Thursday and Friday and will get your message to him.
 
Is the room open for viewing/playing? I was hoping to stop by either Thursday night or possibly Friday during the day (May 3/4).
