Come January The Baileys here in town is dropping half of their tables to put in couches and who knows what else... Monday-Thursday the place is completely full of league players every night and until they went to $10 an hour per table the tables were always full weekend nights as people would fight to get there first to wait on friends and were willing to pay the $5 an hour per player to practice until people came in.......
They have continued to raise prices from corporate in St. Louis and for some reason they think couch potatoes will pay $10 for a burger and fries... $6-8 for a 22oz beer and $9.50 for Jaeger shots, Jack or tequila. and fill the place back up in spite of no special events, happy hours or overall piss poor management..... It's not the pool table morons......
Chattanooga supports 3 different Chattanooga Billiards clubs and the demographics are not hugely different. Knoxville could easily handle a room with good food and alcohol that sported 14-20 Diamond Barboxes and 8-10 diamond 9fters...
If any of you snow birds are considering moving south and opening a room you could do far worse than stopping off in Knoxville and checking it out.....
