I am glad that the whole thing worked out for you. Hopefully you and Stan established something. He is always looking for that special cue.

As far as my cue, your buddy Mr. Schick made me a helluva cue. I was "pretty" pumped when I opened the box.

Hope you can make it to DCC, if not I'll see you in VF. Again if you need anything give me a buzz.

Another Amazing Cue

As most of you can relate to, I was anxiously awaiting the Fedex guy, today. My new Schick, directly from Mr. Schick, arrived, today. And it turned out absolutely perfect. A mix of old and new. Major Szamboti flair, with some of Bill's gorgeous scrimshaw work thrown in.

Eight amboyna points into golden oak stained maple. Rusty brown lizard wrap. Lots of Szamboti styled peacocks throughout. Amboyna buttsleeve with four long narrow ovals and neat srimshaw design inside. I love the ivory dots wrapped in silver that Bill does and he included them in a lot of spots on the cue (nice accent) Ivory Hoppe ring with name and date. And then a short amboyana butt cap.

Special thanks to Will Prout (ibuycues) for helping to introduce me to Mr. Schick and help me get the project started.

I included more of my cues from my personal collection in the pics. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

All I can say is wow! I would only wish to have a cue that nice looking. Amboyna is very beautiful wood, I'd have to imagine it's quite expensive too. Congrats on such a beautiful stick, Bill makes a sweet looking cue from the few I've seen.

Hey Will,
Bill went above and beyond for me. The cue definitely defines my taste just as the Josswest cue that the other Billy did for me. I am lucky both guys gave me a lot of creative input and then they delivered. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Can't wait until the DCC. We can check out all the action, the cues and probably will eat "pretty" well, also. :D :D

Another reason

Schick is my favorite cuemaker, hands down. I just got mine this fall and it is an awesome cue.

YOU CAN HAVE MY SCHICK WHEN YOU CAN PRY IT FROM COLD DEAD FINGERS.....(also a NRA member)
