New set of dynaspheres & getting back to the game

I stopped playing for around a year. I had some herniated discs and ended up needing a multi level neck fusion. I am healed up to the point I can play again. Time to dust off the equipment and run some racks with the best balls in the business. Hope everyone has been well & happy new year to you all.

Cheers

Get it!

Which set is that? I don't recognize it, and I think its the best looking Dyansphere set I've seen. I have the Tungsten set from a few years ago.

I have a set of The tungsten’s. Very happy with them. they don’t seem to get the black marks on them that my cyclops or centennials did

I got a deal on a set of the bronze about 4 years ago and absolutely love them. My set I was using previously took marks of the pockets. The Dynasphere balls never do. They seem to stay cleaner in general, I haven't had to do anything with them beyond wiping them down with a damp rag or one with alcohol on it. Your set looks sweet! Best of luck with your recovery!

First i've ever heard that pool is good for your back. The opposite is usually the case.
Talked with my friend, just over 50yo. He was on a hiatus from pool and had bad lower back pain. After he started playing again, the pain was gone.
After a couple of hours of play, I feel my back, thigh and calf muscles. In a good way. Good balance for sitting in front of a computer all day.
Pool can help but I wouldn’t go on saying that it is a good remedy for back pain in general…

Wow, did it take the whole year for surgery and recovery? I was told that I need fusion at C4-C5, I have a herniated disc putting pressure on my spinal cord. I was told that it was approximately 8-12 weeks for recovery, are they lying to me?????

Motion is lotion. If it helped back pain it most likely because that person was pretty stagnant otherwise.

Have been through it all with my back, have seen it go both ways personally.

I had a set of the Tungsten balls and liked them, but the colors aren't "traditional". Bought a set of the Bronze balls, and donated the Tungsten balls to a local friend's oversized garage bar and man cave, for when he runs his invitation only tournaments. They still have them on his table. The Bronze set is, and this has been said many times here, one of the best deals out there, if you can even find them anymore.
Those Rhodium balls are nice!

You can order the entire Dynaspheres line (sets and individual) here:

Calculate price using the excluded tax price and convert from euros to USD. If you spend over 200 euros (about $210) shipping is free to the USA with no additional taxes or fees. Hopefully someday there is a distributor in the USA...

I stopped playing several months before hand due to it just being too painful. I got fused less than 12 weeks ago and I can play the game again. It's definitely worth it.

Way back I got the Tungstens and they played great and stayed clean. So I then bought 2 sets of the Bronze since they were like around $115. I think Dynaspheres realized 115 was way too cheap for the Bronze, so they changed their name to Vanadium and upped the price.

I own a couple of bronze sets also. It blew me away that a $115 set of balls were better than my $500 Aramith duramith sets. I like that no matter the set from dynasphere the specs are the same.

Agreed they stay cleaner than any other ball in the market that's for sure
