New Shaft is out - Triple 60 TS1

Does anyone know the difference between the T1 vs Raw vs FG57? Big price difference here.
When I asked about the RAW and the FG57 difference, this is what I've got

When I've asked about the New TS1, here is what I got:
we’ll have a full comparison post up tomorrow between TS1, Whyte Carbon, and the FG57 Signature shaft! There are quite a few differences between them all! TS1 is ONLY fixed joint, ONLY available in 2 tip sizes, ONLY offered in raw carbon cosmetic, but is ONLY $399 👌TS1 also comes with a Tiger Everest tip and is slightly heavier (4oz) but those details didn’t work into the “only” joke

Here is what they posted on their FB page

You're not supposed to use talc with a CF shaft at all.
Talc is an abrasive like chalk, if you use it you will wear your wooden or CF shaft down, I used a glove when playing with a wooden shaft so there was no adjustment for me.

You are the exception, most players do need it
Agreed! Each person's hands and skin are as unique as the person is. Unless I dehydrate myself, my hands tend to sweat as I begin moving around the table. Our local pool hall owner is from the Philippines (where it is hot and humid all the time) so he makes no effort to keep the place cool (enough for me anyway) and once the place fills will people, it becomes humid AF! Point is, every person and situation is so uniquely different that is is pointless to debate glove/no-glove, chalk/no-chalk...I mean why aren't we discussing something far more improtant, like the thickness of socks 'cause I am sure that matters to someone :ROFLMAO:.

Talcum powder has a very low abrasion factor due to its extreme softness, ranking a 1 on the Mohs hardness scale

Only god knows the differences between this one and the last one (except for the fixed joint) but this is cheaper at $400

I was getting ready to say something about the prices on CF finally going down when I saw your post, then I looked at the next comment by Paul# . Nope. Don't appear to be going that way anytime soon if people will still pay that much for one.

Predator’s Revo shafts just went up in price to $549

Low abrasion means talc is abrasive and over time will cause wear which will change how your shaft plays, it's that simple.

explain how, since talcum is softer than any wood on planet earth. even if the shaft was made of pine, and you jerked it 8 hours a day for 50 years through talcum powder i suspect you would only polish / burnish that pine shaft
