I just got what I think is a very nice deal on a Skip Weston.

I've wanted a Skip Weston for a while and saw some nice ones on here but took a chance on a bid that I really didn't think would get it. I think I got lucky.

Well, looks like I'll be selling the Schon. :)

I think you got really lucky, Jeff. That looks like a beautiful cue and a great deal.

Chris

Congrats on getting such a great deal. Since you're selling your Schon, I take it the Weston is your new playing cue.

Thanks Chris and ChristopherK

LC3,

Well, if the Weston plays and hits as good as everyone says, then the Schon will need to go to a new home. It's going to have to be awful good to play as nice as the Schon though.

I may just sell the Palmers.

Hey Chris, want to buy a #1 third catalog. ;) ;) :)

I'd had the better deal if you didn't bid on it :D

Good luck with it.

Was that you?

I placed my bid with over an hour left on the auction, and I had my max set at 851 and wasn't going to rebid. I sat there and watched the countdown fully expecting you or someone to jump in and grab it. I was shocked when I got it. :)

Unfortunately I was driving home from work at the time the auction ... fortunately for u :D

If you want to move it, let me know. I've yet to hit S. Weston cue and am curious.

How can this cue sell for less than a grand?
That's a steal.

Yea, I got a heck of a deal, and nobody's even mentioned the case.

That looks like an nice case in the picture.

I also watched that cue pretty closely...heck of a good deal imo.

Enjoy!

My sentiments exactly. It's a slow market right now for most cues and there's a LOT of wood on the secondary market.

But at that price plus the case......what a STEAL !!!

Can somebody please post pics because this damn firewall at work will not let me look at EBay.

Thanks,

My firewall at work was doing that same sort of thing...just up and POOF...blocked images from eBay. Extremely weird cause I could surf eBay, but could not see any images they were hosting. Now everything is working fine and normal...

Weird eh?

I think an unstable economy has lots to do with people holding on to their money. I see this time as a time of much uncertainty, and the stock market as it appears to be doing nothing positive.

People with a few extra dollars are in position many time to take advantage of good deals. Even e-bay once in a while nets a good deal.
