Very nice piece of tulipwood there...be interested to see how it turns out.

Hey Steve. How's that cue shooting for ya? The darker cue with the long points is actually Wenge. The pics do not show the Wenge grain very well , but does look very good.
The top cue is cocbola w/ maple point(6)
2nd is pink Ivory with bocote points (6)
3rd is Tulip wood
Last being Wenge w/ american red oak.
Should be shooting the clear on these next week. I'll share some pics.

I like the Wenge cue with those long points! What made you choose american red oak? I really would have loved to have seen this exact cue with tulipwood and wenge I think the grains on the two woods would have been a nice combo! Also, why not make it wrapless with either American red oak handle or even better a wenge handle?
I really must say those long points really set of rockets for me when I saw that cue. Really nice work! If you do make the tulipwood and wenge cue let me me know? I may have a little room in the budget by then. Only concern is you make the butt of the cue a little too thin for me. I am 6'2" and can palm a basketball so thin butts really hurt my game and love life! HA HA HA!!!
You could even cut wenge points in the Tulipwood cue and pop on a wenge handle and that thing would be awesome. Add a flat faced wood to wood joint and Big Pin and I think you have magic there.
Just some explosive suggestions from kid dynomite. A little play on words

I am gearing up for Derby City , have quite a few people wanting to see my work thru word of mouth and cues I have sold outside my area via internet.
So I am trying to put several cues together to take to Derby to show them my work. I also sponsor a player that will be playing in the Derby and will be there to support him as I did last year. He is quite the player.
Anyway , thanx Kid for the input and hope to put one of my cues in your hands soon.
