New table in Apt/up the elevator

Hi, I did a quick search and didn't find what I was looking for, but I hope I'm not asking something thats already been answered a million times.

I live on the 20th floor of a downtown apt complex. I want to put a table in the 23 x 16 living room. I'm a student (i.e. broke) and a new player, so I wanted to get the cheapest table I could that is still playable.

My questions is whether or not I could fit a non-slate, 1 piece table in an elevator. The cheapest used tables I can find in the area are these

but I can't find information on how they disassemble, or if they would fit into my elevator. The door of the elevator is standard, about 80" x 30", and the elevator itself is about 7 x 2.5 x 7.

Is my only option a 3 piece slate?

Thanks

That table would be a waste of money. Get a proper 3 piece slate table for the same price used but in good condition.

That table is for kids and "families", I doubt it will do anything to help your game.

EDIT to not sound like a total a$$:
Take that $600 and spend it on table time in a real pool room... you'll come out ahead.

This topic is beaten to death.... I can't even remember how many times I have seen asked, "Can I fit a crappy cardboard pool table into an elevator"?

Haha...

Just go look for a nice Gold Crown 1 or an old Gandy... Used they can sell for as low as about $4-600, plus the cost of refelting.

And yes, a disassembled table will easily go up a typical elevator.

^^THIS^^

The table you linked is a complete waste of money. On the used market you should be able to find a table in that price range that is slate and would be WAY better then the table on that link.

I am sure that table would fit into the elevator, it is going to come in a flat box with the legs unattached (think Ikea furniture type of box) and is way easier to get into an elevator then a 3 person sofa or a queen sized bed which pretty much has to be able to get into the elevator of an apartment building.

Post your location in the country and I am sure people can find you a WAY better deal on a table then that, and it will be able to get put into your apartment. If you have an actual open space of 23x16 you have room for a freaking 9-foot easily if you wanted to go that big, a bar box would swim in a room that large. If I had that kind of room I would be getting a used Gold Crown 9-footer for sure.
