New table prices

Greetings everyone. Hope y’all find lots of free time to play/practice. I got two young boys and a day job with quite a long hour so I could only play once in a while.

I was just curious on how the top brand tables cost around here in the US. So if you bought one, or know of a good source, please share.

Last time I checked on Gabriel, it’s about $8000-$8500 + delivery & set up.
I’m interested to know more about Chevillotte, Soren Sogaard, & Verhoeven.

Thanks

chevillote costs the same, 7600 plus shipping from france,
soren 6000-8000 depending on model plus shipping from denmark

new verhoevens, more

the spainsh table sam is about 4500-5000 depending on model, plus 1500 to ship from spain, and that just covers ship to port,

i tried selling each of those for a few yrs, but no one wants to buy new tables that cost 10k to have shipping and installed, no one wants to pay what it costs to have a 10fter moved even

the things weigh like 2000 lbs and need a team of men just to move them

gotta be a rich man to enjoy new ones

Add to that diamond made here in the us will make you a 10ft carom for 10k and a 9ft for 7500, shipping prolly not included

but a new hollywood shipped to my door from vietnam is 3300, thats what we need in the us
more 9fters

but 3c players dont want to touch a 9ft unheated table with a 39 and a half foot pole

Thanks for the details.

I thought Hollywood tables are Korean made, aren’t they?

I have 3 un-heated tables myself and in the look out for heated table for 3C. So I know what’s you’re saying. I used to play libre and start learning about 3C. :). I read about people doing retrofit heating system. But not sure how efficient is it. So I probably go with what I have right now (Olhausen) till I come across a heated table I can upgrade to.

Seems like Soren Sogaard & Verhoeven are very similar in look/design. I like them. I also like the contemporary look of a Chevillotte or Gabriel’s newer model.

In any case, you’re right about the prices of these new. Chevillotte just got back to me saying their delivered price is around $10500-$11000 for the Europa Master.

I guess they kinda figure out that players are willing to pay from $2k upward for an custom cue stick. A high end table at around $8k or so wouldn’t be so bad after all. Except for those who couldn’t/don’t want to pay for new tables.

Who say hobbies are cheap? Hehe

Let me go check my lottery tickets real quick ...!

See ya they gave me prices sell them at the 7k range, dealers prices, but buy directly from them is thousands more

but atleast chevy will get the table to your door, not like the rest you have to figure out all the logistics

The price they gave me for retail was 13k!
Gotta be kidding me lol

Apprently there are hollywoods made in korea and vietnam

Seems like you put yours in the garage which is plenty of room. Why not keep the 10’?

There is plenty room, i will have to keep it it seems

Its not ideal for beginners who havw to learn on thier own i beleive
, im playing for 3 and a half yrs Now
But no one tells that to us, here everyone plays 3c on big tables thats it
i think its a shame

I recently got a pool player into libre and 1 bande
he of course wanted to play 3c at first but quickly got very discouraged by it just as i
because you shouldnt start on 3c unless you have someone to teach you

Plus im a pretty slow learner

Nice!

Is that a 3-pc 2” slate set up? They probably use Artemis cushions too, right?

P37 rubber, Artemis, 60mm slate in three pieces. Steel frame. All Solid wood rails and side skirts. The lower trim pieces between the legs are composite material.

Nice.

How often you keep the heater on?

Did you see any play differences between yours and other European tables at your local clubs?

Thanks 🙏

The heater, I just set it and forget it. You don't save much by turning it off and on (there's some other opinions on this subject, of course). It is typical like the euro table and has a 220v heating system. So you either need a 220v outlet or a converter. Table comes with a decent vinyl cover, too. The table plays just the same as any of the big name euro models, like Gabriels, verhoven, etc. Predictable and slightly long. I've played on most of the brands and this table will not disappoint you.

just remembered something, platin the turkish table is like 3k new

but gotta get it moved from turkey lol

caudron has had in the last 2 yrs a stupid over 2.5 average in world cup matches, playing on that table

yes thats it 3k for the 6 legg classic style, i kept the email, didnt get a shipping quote but looks like they will help you on that as well, i love the 6 leg classic tables

the competition table i didnt ask about, its much more plain looking, same quality in build
