New Valley's Balls Spiting out?

In order to fix this they would have to raise the pocket molding. This of course would ruin the flush look they were going for on the redesign.
After having a few balls spit out on me at very inopportune times during tournaments last year, I learned to either aim for one side or the other on the pocket or if I had to shoot at the centre of the pocket not shoot so hard.

This June at the VNEA at Bally's I had 2 balls rejected during matches.
One in a key game in the singles and one in the round robin portion of the team event.
Both shots were my last solid and cost me the game.
