Hi all: Please check out my just completed web site at www.denalicues.com.

Take a look at the more than 70 kinds of woods that I use in my cues (Materials) and the methods of construction that go into a Denali Cue (Making a Cue). Also, be sure to check out the Shop Tour.

Hi Mason: Could be that Martin is buying Cambodian Rosewood. They still have some Brazilian left, however most luthiers are now using E. Indian because of its availability. I was in Weaverville, NC last year, on a wood buying trip, and ran across some beautiful Brazilian rosewood guitar sets. Unfortunately, they would not sell them at any price. I have two sets of sides and backs of Brazilian left.

my Dad collects Martin guitars and he said that they just did a group of guitars made out of Cambodian rosewood.supposed to be extremely close to Brazilian.i see some Brazilizn out there from time to time, but not pretty enough to make cues out of.it is all strictly brown,no red or purple hues like some of the old good Brazilian.
