I build one cue at a time

Hello,
A lot people do not know my business side but I work in the IT industry and I have been designing and implementing websites for over 12 years. I have been stopped for a while and I recently I've implemented the ecommerce solution/shopping cart for www.omegabilliards.com and today I've completed the face lift and did some fixes for the website of Pete Ohman Cues @ www.omencues.com
The website features now forms that actually reach out Pete as well a new Cue Photo Gallery. So if you have an Omen Cue do not be shy on sending me an email as well to Pete to post your Omen cue pictures.
Let me know what do you guys think.
Thanks!

Great job on the updates:thumbup: I am an Information Security Analyst and I understand how hectic the IT industry can get! I am glad your back and great work!

Actually I work in Knowledge Management and always worked in website content management and I like to do a few websites on the side. Until I can get off my unemployed position that I have now, a few jobs like these are handy :)

I think it would help a lot if the pictures were bigger. Even when you click on them and blow them up, they are still smaller than on most sites.

You are right. That is due to the original picture sizes.
Pete Ohman is going to start uploading better and bigger pictures.
I've just added new pictures from one of his customers in China and these pictures are better but not as big as you would like, but they look a bit better.

The site is great and I have always liked the works of Pete Ohman. He always builds classy looking cues at really good prices that aren't out of this world.

There's only one problem / issue that I could find and I think it could and should be redone. The Omen Custom Cues logo looks very nice, yet the 'C' letters are dead on the same as what can be found on Michael Capone's site (and cues) and to be honest so are the rest of these words, i.e. the 'Custom Cues' looks the same.

Both of these craftsman build cues that are unique and hardly have anything similar with each other so I believe there is no need for a logo to be the same.

I have no doubt that this conformity is accidental but I strongly feel the need for a new logo that looks different.

For a very good example: I love the logo that can be seen on the top of the page.

Good point. I will pass that message on to Pete.

You may also want to give proper credit to the template designer per their license agreement.

Pete has always been a good guy to me and I would hate to see him suffer any (legal) grief because someone forgot to read the "Terms of Use" (and I've seen it happen before).

Just a thought...

Thank you and I am sure that he will understand this. There is no reason for such a similarity and that more "industrial" or modern looking logo that I mentioned above goes better with the Omen cues' designs, IMO.
