Maybe a bit off topic here...

I'm normally not a leather wrap guy, but I'm thinking a S M O O O T H calfskin wrap (black) might be just the ticket for my John Davis blank cue #2...

I have an ebony point blank (with second splice under the wrap) and another in cocobolo points (that might be full handle).

I am thinking the smooth black wrap would be perfect for the ebony points.

I'm normally not a huge ebony guy either, but I asked for "what George would have ordered" and this is what John suggested...

They are embossed leather Mike. The will run 23-25 thousands.

I wouldn't mind trying the baby gator. Does it come in any shades of brown?

I can check on the brown, he told me he had all these styles in black, but never discussed any other color. I will check.
