New York City tournaments

I ran the 9-ball tournaments at the Golden Q for awhile. I'm not sure if it was before or after Vinny. I brought Finnigan in as my assistant. That was his first experience in running tournaments.

Players liked to play in my tournaments because I was fair. I wouldn't accept any bad boy behavior from the players. If they acted up they were warned once. The second time they were ejected from the tournament. I also refused to accept tips from players. I asked the owner, Bruce, to pay me a small fee so I didn't have to take a cut from the prize fund and he complied.

I wasn't comfortable with Calcuttas, and when players insisted on them, I left, and others stepped in.

Calvin...hope things are good for you in FL.

Paradise shut down and now I'm running the 10 Ball tournament over at Steinway Billiard every week on Sunday @ 2pm. So far the tournament has been running good with exception to losing some of our players bigger weekend tournaments.

Talk to Duc Lam (Cuemaster98) he organizes a friendly 10 ball tourney at Paradise Billiards. Boy oh boy, I miss those times.

I'm going try to make the 10-Ball Tournament at Steinway as part of my Sunday routine.
