I just noticed this name ( Semih_Sayginer) and was wondering if this is the same guy who I saw perform those amazing shots over the web.

If so, welcome aboard.

Off topic, but I love that new avatar!

Thanks.

You and I have come to realize that we differ greatly when it comes to politics but this cracked me up.

Yup, Sayginer is like one of the kings of 3-cushion billiards. I believe he's also talked about it either in this month's Inside Pool or Billiards Digest.

I saw that he was on our newest member list and I wanted to start a thread letting everyone know. I wasnt sure, so I left it alone. I might start looking at the 3 cushion section more often if he is going to be a regular contributor. I saw him and the world's best 3 years ago or so. I made a special trip to L.A. at this little out of the way place, some mexican billiard room (not very nice) just to watch them play. I crowded myself in there the whole weekend. Really great stuff to watch him and Sang play at the time. It was neat to see them dressed the way they do, even though the room wasnt comfortable, and was very hot in there. That's the class of the 3 cushion players.

Welcome, welcome - if that really is you.

Loved that video! Great stuff!

I sent that video to a friend of mine and he still argues with me that some of those shots were computer generated. :D

I told him I thought I read somewhere that they use a different type of cloth for carom and it allows the cueball to do alot more. (I hope I'm right)

What struck me as I watched it was how did he even imagine some of those shots let alone hit them. Truly incredible stuff...

No doubt that he is one of the most gifted cueists I have ever seen.

3cussions use warmed tables. this REALLY improves the roll of the ball. its amazing what u can do on those tables. if u never played it, try it!!. the cussions just BOUNCE the ball where u want, and the englisch, draw etc u can put on is AMAZING. i wonder why no pool tables use these cussions and cloth....
