Its fun to see old 'school' clash/learn/with the next gen. and go 'at it' on a daily basis here, on the Forum, threadsville, and sometimes U feel at home & other times...U feel like your in the dog House."

Sometimes it's GREAT.

Sometimes it SUCKS.

Sometimes it's GREAT.

And "old school" had no computer (pool websites, streaming video, podcasts), no espn pool coverage, no pool videos, no cell phone -- only communication was what another player would share --- made it harder and maybe longer to find a game or room but a little easier to slide in and out of town

Once the younger generation gets older, hopefully they'll understand that not everybody old is clueless and also why we valued using manners when comminicating with others.
I see some of the most feeble comments here at times and some goof ball will write something like "LOL rep to you!" and it was for something that really seemed unremarkable. And other times, I've seen poeple who I suspect are older by the content of what they write say some really deep or knowlegable insights and the same younger ones who "rep" stupidity instead want to argue with the poster. Or, others just jump right in with rude comments.I still don't understand that part of things here.
but all in all, this is a fun place to visit. I like way more than I dont.
