Pool Inventions of the Future

Swappable cue tips.

So I can try as many $30 dollar cue tips without fear of spending the money and having to cut them off and throw them in the garbage. It would be nice to keep the tips incase I wanted to go back to them for whatever reason.
 
Its not a pool invention but an independent company that tests shafts for deflection, sound, energy-transfer efficiency, and descriptions of how it is made or what is inside.

Would probably need to be a non-profit funded by APA. But who would head up the company?

Whoa! I think its money that's preventing this from happening. I don't think APA would be interested. I think the person who headed the company would have to have a plan to get money. The plan is the stumbling block.
 
A tip that doesn't need to be chalked would be incredible.

Don Owen was working on this idea 10 years ago with a material that simulated gecko feet. He said it didn’t work well.
