Next Up 90/90 Ron Vitello's DVD

If I'm getting your meaning, I guess it wasn't the obvious joke that I intended.

Ron you say 1,2,3,4 are 90/90 .On any of the shots do have to adjust because you might be over cutting or under cutting after doing 90/90?

Not trying to stir the pot here but i have been doing this for about maybe 5,to 6 years now.You are the one who turned me on to pivoting and i haven't looked back.Thank you!
I feel there are gaps left out in the way pivoting is taught .I do something total different now and it works well.
Do you think what you teach puts you right on line ?
Or does it do 2 things ,online or right next to it .And with practice one will be able to make the adjustments.
Also will the system remain the same from big tables to smaller ones?
Thanks Again Ron and good luck with your video.

Am I out of line for asking these questions?Any awswer is better than none.

I have printed off your diagram, I will try to get it answered on the DVD.
Ron did reply, but you know that this mode of communication is very limited. So unless Ron adds more to this I guess we have to wait for the video.
Thanks for your interest,
Mark

Ron V. hopefully to address in 90/90 Video

Ronnie V.!

This Johnny G. I met you at the Super Billiards Expo, got a lesson and you recently sent me the book. Was hoping in the video you could also address additional REFERENCE aiming methods (light, shadows, etc.) to know you're dead on before you pull the trigger. Per our phone conversation you asked me to remind you to keep the photo of the OB in your book to see the proper visual after pivoting with the 90/90. Having that pic in the book is a great help while first learning your system.

I'm sure you have most of these topics already mapped out but would really like to see the following addressed in your movie if you have time:

combination shots, kick shots and diamond systems.

Thanks again for all your help and looking forward to the movie!

sighting

Hey Mark,

I hope Ron will describe exactly what is he sighting / where is he looking firstly when approaching his shots, then during his transition down in his stance, then when placing his bridge hand, and finally when he is settled in his stance and starts his shooting process.

I'm fighting my tricky eyes all the time, think it's my biggest enemy for a consistent game...

Thanks!

I have been very fortunate to work with some of the top player/coaches in pool. In continuing with the highest level of instruction available, I am excited to announce that Ron Vitello the originator of the 90/90 Aiming and Banking Systems has agreed to work with me to produce his new 2 DVD set.

We are set to start filming next week.

I need your input on things you want to see, or questions you have that we can answer in the video.

Ron also has a workbook that contains 175 practice shots, it is a spiral bound book with diagrams that you can take to the table to set up the shots.
We are looking for feedback as to whether we should combine the book with the DVDs.
Ron feels the book with the DVD would be the best solution. You can watch the DVDs then take the workbook to the table, set it on the edge and have the shots diagramed there for you.
Please give us your feedback, and any questions. We want to hear from you so we can answer your questions.
Thank you,
Mark Otto

Where can I get Ron's book while waiting for the DVD?

2 options maybe?

In the first place i am glad for your decision and your efforts to produce something really of help to many of us.

I just wanted to cast my opinion. Why not having two different options ?
meaning
1) with the book for those that like drills and would like to spend a few more bucks to take the whole package
2) only the dvd's for those that hate drills and want just the system. Or even don't want to spend more.
I am definitely in the first category by the way ...

just my 2 cents..

Thank you for your input, the decision will be up to Ron, one thing that I know is if we only sell them together it will be harder for people to copy and try to pass off as an original DVD.. After what happened to Fast Lenny that is something to keep in mind.
Thanks again,
Mark

The film is in the can! At least I think that is what they use to say?
Wow... RonV gave us alot of great information to share.
We filmed 4 days, with a lot of different camera setups. I think we will answer many of your questions with this video.

Ron teaches the 90/90 system, which is a swivel/pivot system and it is very easy to catch on to (even for me):D. He touched a little on the lights and shadows systems, and being a visual learner myself I found all his teachings helpful, and all his methods very easy to understand.

He also shared banking and kicking systems that he teaches in a simplified way. Many of the banking systems are his own and are very easy and are deadly accurate.
This is going to be a great DVD and a must have for anyone who wants to learn more about pocketing balls.

I want to thank RonV and his wife Eva for coming here and allowing us to capture this information. It was truly a pleasure to meet and work with both of them. I cannot thank them enough for sharing.

Mark,
This is awesome news! Thank you so much!

Mark,

I am very lucky to get to work with the people I have. I am glad I got the chance to meet Ron and learn from him first hand.
I have tried to understand the pivot systems before, having Ron show me his method first hand really cleared up a lot of things. Now if I can just get to the table with the new information instead of on the computer editing...I will be a happy camper...

Graphics

Something you can't really do with cameras is to show what the shooter sees on various shots. Maybe the shooter's view can be better depicted with graphics.

I imagine Ron would have to tell the graphics guy exactly what to portray.

You know it is really great that you are asking the questions. I don't know that anyone else doing videos has ever asked what works and doesn't work for the intended viewers.

patience, determination and the ability to add up 2+2 = 4 on your own is all these systems need to make them work. without one of these, you most likely will be shit out of luck! There all really that easy to learn.

Patience does not hurt either when learning a new system..

Talked with Ron the other day. He was very optimistic about the footage he and Mark had gotten. Really looking forward to seeing the finished product!
