I’ve known Alex since he was 15….took him to the Canadian jnr 9-ball championship when he was 16….he robbed it. Took him to the BCA JUNIORS same year…5/6….turned him loose in Mary Kenniston’s room for the week playing $100 sets, race to 9….batted 1,000 for the whole week…continuously in action. He never seemed to have that stage where he had a lot to learn…he just needed older muscles.Interesting podcast with Michael Coltrain. For those Alex P fans (looking at you @pt109 ), Coltrain speaks very highly of him and his game. Sounds like they locked horns a few times and Alex left quite an impression.

Right around when the PBT folded and his game was at its peak, he came down with a neurologically based issue with tremors. This ended his career prematurely. He goes into detail at the end of the podcast. And what became of Coltrain other than this podcast?
