Also allows your cueing arm to act with a natural stroking motion. Very interesting.

Current WPBA Regional Tour Champion, Susan Mello, has been holding the bridge like this for a while now. I always get a kick out of it when I see her do it, but have yet to try it myself. Maybe one day I'll try it out. I can see how it can be beneficial in getting the bridge out of the way quickly in certain situations. But from a stability standpoint, I never have any problems holding a bridge stable on the table.

I've seen people hold the bridge that way....but maintaining the underarm stroke is real cool, just won't work when you have to stretch more than that.

You guys in AZ might know who I'm talking about.

I hear Corey will gamble using the bridge like that on every shot. He's an interesting guy.

Another way to use the bridge with a normal stroke is to use one of those "extenders".
