Nice Dale Perry custom 6 point cue with 2 shafts

Do a little research to help you get an accurate gauge of the value of your cue. Hit eBay and do a search for "Dale Perry." You can also do a search here and see what DPs are selling here on AZ. This will give you some idea of what to ask for your cue.

No, it definitely is NOT one of the cheaper eBay models, but those thousands of $100 eBay DPs has pretty much queered the market for every Dale Perry. Believe me, I know, having tried to sell a few pre-eBay DPs myself.

So you're saying this is one of the cheaper ebay models?

I had a pre-ebay DP custom cue. When I tried to get rid of it, I could not get $200 for it. That was about 5 years ago. Good luck with your sale!!

It may well have been a $1200 cue at one time. However, it is not a $1200 cue now, unfortunately for your friend.

People here are not trying to mislead you, they're telling you a hard truth. The people you and your friend should be mad at are Dale Perry and the person who sold your friend the cue.

By the way, I really like pre-eBay DP cues, and even the eBay cues aren't bad for the money. But Dale made a business decision to sell cues on eBay that put a lot of DP cue owners (and dealers) in a terrible spot, which is where your friend finds himself now. To quote another guy who's screwed a bunch of people, "I feel your pain!"

I guess thats why Shawn Putnam sold it to him and told him it was a $1,200 cue
