Nice idea - Pool table with cue drawer

I've never seen this before, but I came across an Olhausen table on Ebay with a built-in drawer along the long rail. From the photo it appears to slides out from the skirt and is long enough for cues to be stored in one piece as opposed to broken down. (It's a 9' table which helps, as smaller tables may not have enough space between the legs for this.)

Seemed like a great idea as the space along the skirts under the frame is just wasted on most tables. Has anyone else seen this? Is this an exclusive Olhausen feature (Can't see it listed as an option on their website) or have other table manufacturer's done it?

It's not a new concept. Brunswick, Balke & Collendar was doing it a hundred years ago. I still have an old BBC "Titlist" styled veneered house cue from the drawer of an old Brunswick Baby Grand I once bought & sold.

just more hot air!
