I remember seeing a design like this once before that left people scratching their heads. Ironically, that cue's owner was also from Germany if I recall correctly.

Many guessed Jim White and Paul Mottey but with a degree of hesitation as some of the inlays seemed... just a bit off. And as it turned out, the cue was actually Mottey/White-esque but made by a Phillipino.

Based on the peacocks in the windows (having a 'thick neck'), I would normally guess Phillipino too. But I'm thrown because you say its a 'master cuemaker'.

But I'll go with Mottey. Ringwork, design, all seems like a Mottey shop design.

...So who is it?

Nah, I don't think it's a Mottey. No offense intended to this person but Mottey's diamonds in the ring work are sharper. Not as rounded as the ones posted by cuemasterpieces.

These 2 cues belong to me so there's no mistaking that these are Mottey. Again, no offense intended to cuemasterpieces with that comment. Just an observation. This is a gorgeous cue.

One of my favorite designs in a cue that Ralf was responsible for collaborating with Viattorre Cues to complete this beauty.
Berny - those are some incredible pictures and once again you managed to get my interest up high with the way you peal away layers.
Very creative photography and story board.

So is this cue now part of your collection?
Thanks for posting these pictures.

Yeah. It really is a beautiful cue with a beautiful design. And I suspected it wasn't Mottey because, as I said... the inlays seemed just a little off. But the 'master cuemaker' threw me for a loop. No disrespect to Viatorre. I just started thinking along thelines of Ernie, Hercek, Art Cantando, Mottey, and a few others when I think 'master'.

Beautiful cue though.

sure buddy it is no disrespect ....

but tell me, is a cue build by HAND without use of CNC in that fancy style and that kind of precision, not a piece done by a Masters Hand :) ....

I have learned carpenter and joiner and i know that this is a hell of craftsmanship ;)

I mean just go wrong one time and you can kick it into the kiln

I have seen a lot work from other Cuemakers that build by Hand in that country ..... but Jackson is the only one that reach that Top Quallity.

I would not spend one Dollar for poor quallity.

Thats why i sayed, build by a MASTER's Hand

He really got my Respect for building that Piece ...

Hi! Care to explain further how the inlays seemed to be a little off? Do you mean they are not aligned or do they look different from PM's style? Thanks!

:)
