or should I say WAS one. seller coach9 item7225330558.. I finally find a cue that is satisfactory and some one asks the seller to end the auction early ! ! !The seller told everyone how little he knew about the value of the cue, when he hinted what his reserve was. Why have an auction when you are going to end it early ! ! !For an extra couple bucks the people that know the value of their cue is can use the "reserve" feature.
In this case the seller pointed out his reserve was way less than $1500 , so someone probaly offered him $1700. And the cue is gone. I would have paid more than that, the cue was in original condition.! ! !.I know SHIT happens ! ! !
 
i thought i notice the cue has two nonorginal shafts.. the ringwork on shafts is not matching like other J i seen. But i would like to reiterate that i am NOT an authority on Palmer cues.

Actually, Raist, you're dead right. The other one has black shaft collars and MOP joint collars. I wish these people would post decent pictures. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7225418302

On the other auction, I would call Paul and ask him what he did to the cue and if it's straight.

The one with the 40 year owner and one single picture. He says the shafts came with the cue a long time ago from a Florida dealer but can't guarantee they are original.

From the one crappy photo, I can't even tell if they're Palmer shafts.

thank you so much ! ! You have good eyes ! I was looking at the other palmer(in california) and it has good pics and I thought the shafts matched..... so then I look at this cue the guy has had 40 years, where you can't see anything and I just assume everything is correct..big mistake... I'm still learning... Patience :)
