All right, first of all, I want to thank you guys for your support.
Those are now my last few days in this place, likely for quite a while, so I think I'll let you hear my thoughts about my time here.
I have seen 2 Stooges, which is not a bad place. The Saturday Tourney is pretty fun with mostly decent folks around.
Apart from that altogether the place felt rather like taking out friends to have a few pints and additionally bang some balls (not saying that there are no pool players) it just does not give me the feeling of going there to do training or playing "seriously" (which might sound funny from my mouth
)
My favorite place became to be honest Jimmy's Pro Billiards.
Thanks for introducing me there Nate. It is nice to always find someone to play and the tables are great (I envy you guys for those Diamonds though).
The owner, as much as those regulars that I met, are all nice, the place has some down to earth feeling and it felt to me like a pool place rather than a disco or bar.
The burgers are great!
Shooters leaves me kind of splitted up. The tables and the food are good stuff, specially the tables in the ring.
Thanks Matt for meeting me there and suffering my second 1 pocket try ...
I think the whole place is just a little bit to large for me, but I enjoyed the Monday tournaments a lot, though I kinda messed up...
JRs is a place I only went to the Friday tournaments. I like the atmosphere, though it is pretty interesting to play while a life band is playing (good) music on the other side
The only handicap to me is the lack of 9 foot tables.
As a final word, I just wanna say thanks for the great time and helping me to get back into the game a bit after quite a while of not playing.
Nate, Matt, Hollywood, Fish and many others thanks for your patience and friendly company!
Hope to meet you all again someplace!
Yours Björn
