Nice Schon and Frey for sale

Fragar

Fragar
I am selling my Schon SL19 to make room for a new arrival. The cue is in excellent condition and has 2 Schon shafts that are 13mm. The cue weighs 19.5oz. It has a leather wrap and micarta ferrules. The Frey is a sneaky pete. It is a cocobola and maple cue. It comes with 1 shaft that is like new. It is 13mm and the cue weighs about 19.3oz. I would like to get $900 for the Schon and $300 for the Frey.

Thanks,
Frank Garrison

Frey

That's $50 bucks less than J.P. sells em new, your going to have to do better than that around here to make a sale........

Ummm, did you not read what Pan said?

Plus, I don't think I am buying a $900 Schon from someone with 6 posts, 3 of which are in this thread.

Especially when he ignores someone who is a contributor when they give him advice.

(Off to a bad start here, dude)

Not for sale

I thought that this forum is for selling and buying cues. I have bought several cues from people off this forum and because I don't post deragatory remarks at everybody's postings, I don't have the right to sell something here. Fine, I won't sell these here. I have a 371 rating on Ebay and don't have to jusrify my posting here. These cues are not for sale here.

Trying to sell things expensive is in it self stupid when the people here know what things are worth.

Which part is constructive criticism? The part where I was told that since I did not have 100 posts, I shouldn't post a cue for sale or the part where I was called stupid for posting here to begin with. If you don't want to buy the cue, don't belittle me for listing it here. The cue is an SL19. I came before the STL series. Schon made an STL17 after the SL19.

Heck I'm usually the one with panties in a bunch, and I didn't see much wrong with your listing. More than I would want to spend, but then most things are more than I want to spend. You should be able to ask what you want for a item, if its over priced no one on here will buy it.

Me Too!

If you are buying buy. Nice Frey. Phil has at least 2 of them.
Good luck with your sale!
Nick

Hmmmmmmm are Fragar & GotSkillz the same person?
GotSkills has no posts, yet make little nasty comments through rep about this post?

not the same person

I am not the person that you are referring to. I don't know the other person, but if you are as nasty to them as to me, I can see why they are making nasty comments back.

I feel that I must add a comment here.

Here is a post on the main forum concerning this Frey. http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=33353

I bought this cue from DaytonaJoe several months back, and gladly paid $300. I agree that it is one of the best hitting cues that I have ever felt. I did tell Joe that I would give him first dibbs if I got rid of the cue, and I apologize that I didn't. But with Joe's divorce and move, and other unforseen circumstances of my own, I sold this cue to Fragar a couple of weeks ago. I told him that I gave $300 for the cue, and that I thought that it was worth the money. He paid me $300 for the cue as well, and with the hit and feel of the cue, I do not think that he got a bad deal.

Fragar mentioned at the time that he wanted to get rid of his Schon, and I even suggested to him that he might want to list the cues on AZ to see if anyone might be interested. I didn't know that he would catch this kind of heat for doing so.

I know that many long time board members don't like to see newbies come on AZ just to try to sell items, but I suggested to Fragar that I didn't see anything wrong with him doing it. And I didn't really see anything wrong with his post, althought maybe he could elaborated a little more about why he thinks the cues are worth the asking price. And I also think that if persons on the board aren't interested, that they don't have to flame someone just because they aren't a long standing member here.

So I'm sorry if Fragar's posts offended anyone. I was the one that suggested he come here to list the items.

$300 is a small amount to pay for "the best hitting cue you've ever felt", that must be one exeptional Frey!
Oh did not realize that stating that you could buy a new Frey for $50 more was considered as being "nasty"
