Nice site Jack!

http://www.justiscases.net/index.html

It really is a good showcase for your work.

The gallery is very interesting. As one that has closely followed the legendary “Team Betmore” dynasty since it’s unlikely inception it is good to see the entire team represented in the gallery.

breakup,
I was very distressed to see my position in Jack's gallery (somewhere right around......DEAD LAST!!!). I can only assume he placed the cases in reverse order of proficiency (though how he can rank Efren last I'll never know).

Anyway, your rather bitter insinuations (that I might not be a very important member of the team or that I might have in some way tampered with the extremely tight raffle security) are excused - because of my extreme good nature today (I am pictured in the new March edition of Billiards Digest - for some strange reason I couldn't find your picture....oh, that's right; because you failed to rig.....errr......win the raffle. I guess that makes you the LOSER....but I think you already knew that, so nevermind; your apology is accepted).

P.S. - While your characterization of our team as a "dynasty" might seem somewhat far-fetched to some, I can only wholeheartedly agree that no other term will be sufficient. After all, the team has NEVER missed a ball or lost a game in the HISTORY of its existence (even the Yankees lose one every now and then). I can only think it will be a short time before jealous players call for the "breakup" of the dynasty.

Oh to the contrary, many monumental things have been the result of a series of unlikely events.

There was even a great TV series “Connections” by James Burke based such occurrences.

I am reminded of the show where he drew the connection of how a design consideration of many of the components of the space shuttle were limited to the average width of a mules butt.

This must be analogous to the “design considerations” Efren must have to account for when playing position for his partner.:p

(Short version of the Connections episode, when Romans build roads they were the width of a cart pulled by a mule, which became a standard road width, which eventually became the width of train tracks which shuttle components need to be transported on)

breakup,
I have to say that on most days your "mules butt" analogy would really get me going; but today I'm above all the petty bickering (because I'm in BD and YOU'RE NOT). Also, though Efren's theory on position is somewhat simplistic (ie. "it doesn't matter" for those of you that didn't read the thread), he seems to scrape by well enough that I haven't attempted to correct him.

Your post does remind me though of the adage regarding why they don't send mules to college...... "because all the world hates a smartass."

P.S. - for those members unaware - breakup and I are JUST KIDDING!!!
