Question here?
My friends sold and bought many DPK's and early SouthWest cues in the early to middle 80's and they all were signed DPK. I thought that is how you know the cue is a DPK.
Thanks
Nick

I'm glad you like the cue and plan on keeping it...
I'm sure that cue will be an 80's SW...
I have no idea where people come up with the misconception that the double rings on the butt are a Kersenbrock trademark..
It is the complete opposite....
Jerry was the one that did the double rings.. David was well know for NOT matching the rings on the butt...
I've had a slew of SW's with the double rings..NONE were Kersenbrocks..
I just left Lauries shop on Monday with a double ring backend 6 high point.. NOT a Kersenbrock.. It was bought from John Wright.. As many were...
Laurie can usually find the paperwork on most of these double ring cues almost always SW... Who says so??? Laurie and the whole shop... They did make them, they should know...
Bring up the agruement that you've seen documented double ring cues said to be Kersenbrock from collections.. That is a huge can of worms.. And I'm not going there...
Guarenteed they were'nt sent to SW..
Best,
Ken
