Can't wait to get a cue made of this stuff!
my god is it gorgeous!
This tree must have grown against all odds on the side of a road in a
pile of stones with no sunlight or water to get figure like this.

Wood... wood... wood... Nothing beats Art by Nature crafted by a superb cuemaker/builder. A hitter and a looker rolled into 1 is my kinda cue.

That's some amazing figure. Whats a guitar like that cost?

this looks like a customized version of one of their newer models and i would guess it would be somewheres in the $10,000 range but i think it's a picture of 2 or more basses.

skins ---------------- likes Alembic basses..........

Cue wood

Nothing like buying a $10,000.00 + guitar, taking a bandsaw to it, and making cues out of it.

kenny murrell found me a few boards of quilted cocobolo and said one of them looks very promising. cant wait to see some photos of it.

One of my buyers from asia sent me enough wood exactly like this to make him 3 cue's, tried to get some more but he had to pay an arm and a leg from a jewelery box maker to get the piece he got and didn't want to go through the hassel again. damn it. I usually don't use others materials, but he buys enough cue's from us, and I really wanted to work with some of this wood.

wow.

I see that awesome guitar & all i can think is, how many cues could i have made if i chopped it up?

Great looking wood!!

Here is some equally rare Cocobolo, if not rarer than that pictured, the following cue was made by Billy Wenn using Cocobolo Burl.

one of the most rare finds Quilt Cocobola

Joe Salazar was selling a Richard Chudy with quilted cocobola of equal or better figure than the guitar. I agree it is magnificent. Chudy said it was a once in a lifetime piece. Call Seattle Joe if you want a quilted cocobola cue! He wanted reasonable money for an ivory and exotic wood cue as I recall. I don't have his number handy but try a search for the "cue connoisseur"
