If you advertize yourself as a professional pool player.

As of this morning we have determined that 8 more people are not eligible to play in the Nick Varner Amateur Event. We have 110 people who have been confirmed as eligible. We are still determining eligibility on 9 players.

That leaves 9 spots that are open and those have been added to the registration page.

Not sure what you mean by "real". Everyone on the list has already paid. Unless they have fake identities with fake credit cards to match, they are "real".

There's a few that shouldn't be on the list, but I'm not going to knock em.

When running amateur events you have to deem some players advanced, in eligible, etc.
I know that from running an amateur tour for 3 years, always players sneaking in, or don't play certain events to meet others criteria. It's (Amateur) the toughest to do.

I hope it fills and continues. I'll be at the next one. :)

I saw 3 on this list that play great but good luck to them....REAL meaning that a middle name is used first to stay under radar or something like that.....It really doesnt matter. Personally as an EX player myself im glad to see someone doing something good for pool and I hope it goes well and many more to come. I hate that I was turned down to play but thats the way the cookie crumbles. Defining an amatuer is a super tough thing to do.....Its alot easier determining a Pro thats for sure....What I learned about this is " iif your not a pro but not amateur I guess the best thing to do is just sit out.....lol" LIL JOHN MACIAS

Me too. Not going to knock em either. I hope it go's well and becomes an annual event.
 
Good List

There's obviously some guys who are TOP amateurs but I think Str8 Shots did a good job.

I'm not entirely certain of guys who aren't in Colorado and surrounding states but think it's a solid list.

It's nice to see the couple pro's from Denver area who have been cleaning up around here aren't allowed in this one.

Unfortunately, I personally won't make it but I'll be in Turks and Caicos so no complaints here. Hopefully one of the Colorado Springs guys take it down.
 
I emailed Matt about an hour ago with the link. There may be two spots left, that was the last I heard. We have had some problems with the registration links, mostly due to people hitting the button twice lol. I told him if it does not let him register to let me know and I will check again.

tourney info?

I have called everyone on the flyer and cannot get any info whether the tourney is full or not. Any help is appreciated.
