I was thinking about this earlier when I was in the Turning Stone Stream chatroom tonight. First I thought so many seem to lean towards the dark side but maybe not really. IDK

So say what if you think of a players nickname and post it and tell us where you think it belongs. To the Good the Bad or the Ugly !

We can keep score !

And who's first ?

Raj H

A major player already has that name. Everyone that follows pool, knows it.

Shannon D

Shannon the canon fit right when it was first given. Anyone know who coined it?

Blind Larry/Coke bottle Larry

Met him first in Feb 1976 in Florida, when they had a run of 3 tournaments, one in Tampa , Lauderdale and Miami. His glasses were so thick, his eyes looked like giant squid eyes. He had a win over Captain Hook at one of those tournaments. Saw him a year ago in Hammond, IN. His glasses were very different, because of present technology. Still plays good in early seventies. He had a Great sense of humor. His last name was Parsley and he named his son Elvis. True story, I swear.:)

The Freezer

I know Scott personally, but never knew who gave him his nick name. Maybe billy I?

The Rocket Man

Richie Slupic. Played him a Gillian times at the King and I at 43rd and Laramie in Cicero, IL Always played winner don't quit, at his request. Broke even the majority of times, after being 400 winner at 20 a game. Could not hang with the Rocket Man for obvious reasons. Every one in they're 50's or older in the Chicago area know this guy.
