nicknames....

hehe no, that was for you suck or newguy.

ps scott, u can see my case on these (crappy) pictures. LOVE the Gecko's. It really  frustrates me when i see people bragging about there lizard wrap!!! POOR little cute animals :( Thats even the reason why ill never buy the Mcdermoth gecko special cue. Isnt it contradictory? They sell a cue with gecko design on it , so i supose the cue is ment for people who love gecko's, but then they add the skinn of a lizard they KILLED!! to make the wrap? Its like buying a atomic bom that has: MAKE LOVE NOT WAR marked on it. ITs just so plain..... stupidity.

anyway here the crappy webcam pics.
I hope you get better soon. Pick up the McD gecko if you want, It's got a linen wrap, so no worries ;)

Good luck on your quest.

Nicknames aren't chosen by the person that wants one. Sometimes they are given. Most times they are earned. (usually for doing something stupid, odd, unusual, outrageous, etc....) Kind of an extension of their personality, or a contradiction of some type.

The ones that stick the best seem to be the ones that are earned.

Hang in there long enough and you will acquire one. Hopefully you will get one you like.

Regards,

Scott <--- no nickname that stuck yet

Do u think this will have any effect on my game? (havent played in 10days with the holidays, and now another 10 days from the accident.) Hope ill be back in shape soon.

greats from tripple S (silly sally solly)

I have a prediciton for you Sols. I bet when you get back, your first day of shooting will be better than you have had in a while. I say this because you will not be over thinking your shots and leaves, and just let you brain relax and you will trust your training enough to just let it happen.

Let us know how it goes!

I hope you are recovering well from your fall.

I hope you don't take offense, but I thought of one that is sort of related to your unfortunate accident.

The Penguin <--- Flightless bird

I knew a fellow that did roofing as his profession. His co-workers called him "The Jumper" because of his multiple falls from the roofs of houses.

Hope you get well soon.

There's already a guy nicknamed Lizard, Steve Smith.

How about 'Good Golly Don't You Ever Miss, Solly'?
Solid Solly
Salamander Solly
Solly the Skink or Skinky (Hey, it's as good as Ginky, and better than Solly the Anole!)
Scaly Solly
Solly Seychelles (same name as some boots my daughter got for Christmas, but I know there are 2 geckos with that name too.)

Ok, all this lizard talk is doing me in. Good luck with the Monitor...er, moniker. :p

hehe :) nice post guys and linda. some cool monicks. I must say after reading those all came up with colin and now here, i'd say linda gets the choice of getting me a nick. I dont know how but her imagination is just SO.... HUGE.

im recovering well. the legs are getting ok, but now other problems are acuring. The strong painkillers are *****ing up my stomach, kidnies etc. i feel like vomiting the whole day and im drinking 24/24. maybe theres nothing on the bone structure of my hips, but it did something to my stomach... not sure if they can see this in those xray pictures. If its not better on monday, ill probably will do an extra trip to the hospital.

ow, i posted same post on our national forum, and seems they love:

'houscue' solly.

i must admit :) thats something i'll tell my grandchildren in 50 years.
