Just came from Absinth club in Greenbelt 3, Makati City, Philippines, where Niels Feijen aka The Terminator wowed the crowd with his music. I know that Niels is a DJ and all, but I never realized he was that good! And I kid you not! I was very much impressed with his performance. Am going to do a post on it later - am wasted right now.

An oh! To everyone who wants to catch the rest of Niels' Cue Sessions gig, The Terminator will be at the Ascend club, Bonifacio High Street, The Fort, Taguig City, this coming Saturday, November 24, 2007.

All i got were some pics. I didn't bring my vidcam (bummer). Will post them up later in the day...i'm really wasted.
 
The Dane must be having one hell of a time there. It's interesting that he's still there 2 weeks after the the conclusion of the WPC and not chasing some pool crown elsewhere. Then again he has $50k to blow from the Mohegan Sun win. He must have his girlfriend/wife with him.

Known as "The Terminator", DJ Neils Feijen, one of the best DJs in Holland, started dJ'ing at an early age. He belongs to a league of world class professional pool players. He is a member of the Mosconi team which consists of the best European billiard champions. Neils' variety and specialty as a dj are progressive-house, tech-house, deep-house, house and techno.

He spins at events as a dj in different bars from Germany to England to France while playing pool.
He also spun in a club called "One Four" in his Holland hometown Hague for years.
Now, he is a resident in a club called "de Kleine Kunst" in his country of residence.

That's really cool. I did not know that about him. I've often wondered if any other great players had talents that we don't know about.

When he's back in Holland I'm sure he'll write about his ventures in the Phillipines this year.

Last I checked he was dutch :)
 
uh, didn't know Niels stayed in Manila that long! thanks for the news, pretty interesting. He was expected to show his DJ skill after a dinner with Dumaguete mayor but he said that he had to check the equipment first so that he knew what to deal with. He is a pro at everything :)

Ooops. You're right. For some reason, I thought he hailed from Denmark vs. Holland. Must be the blond hair or me having a blonde moment. :D
