Niels vs Efren one pocket

Yesterday Busti and Efren were back in the poolhall for some more action. Niels took on Efren one pocket 9-7 and Busti had a score to even with me. So I played Bustmante one pocket 10-5 handicap race to 4 for 50.
Started bad as I had to warm up and lost the first 10-1, but kicked back good in the second taking 5 after a uptable game. The third and fourth were close but went both Busti's way. (3-1). Now I shifted up a gear and played some very nice shots. How cool is it that Busti complimented your shots and thinks for a minute or two before taking a shot leaving you a ball!! So I came back 3-2 and 3-3!! We were both on the hill!!!
In the final rack I had a good break shot were Busti made a error. Took 4 balls and missed an difficult shot but I had a safety in mind. From there we had a long long battle were I didn't get a decent shots. And the longer it took the more I realized I could beat Busti again...this was working on my nerves. Well after more then 3 hours (match total) I lost 10-4 in the final rack!!

Walking through the door in 't Duintje, where I've spend many afternoons all by myself. Now I'm playing Efren and Busty there also, cool!!

We played a race to 5 today with the 9-7 handicap for 200. It went 2-2, then 3-2 Efren and I had him 6-0 in the next. I made a mistake and he runs 7 so we fight for the last two which he both banks in of course

Then in the next we go to the final 2 balls again and I play him safe by his hole and a ball all the way on the other side 20 cm left of the middle diamond so no banks for him...

He kicks on rail on that ball and banks it of the long rail in his hole and makes the last long shot also 2-5.. (see the picture below).

Played one more set for 100 race to 3 cause didn't want to wear myself out by playing another 8 hours. He went up 0-2 but I got a game and then ran 7 and out in the next. Tough final rack but I managed to get like 7 balls by my hole and eventually he conceded after a bad safe so -100 but 1-1 in sets again.
