When spotting the other player the seven playing nine ball what are the best places for the seven to happen to be in the rack? Obviously not the wing balls but which positions are considered the least likely to drop on the break?

Just behind the 1 ball. Unless he knows how to break and cross-side banks that ball. Other than that, just behind the 9 is good too.

Thanks for the quick feedback. That is what I assumed but you know where those assumptions can get ya sometimes.

u can jus try out a few positions n c which 1 works best for u :p

I actually plan to try a few positions based on where the person is breaking from. Have to see if they shift the break according to where I put the seven.
