NJ state championship and world championship

Can anyone provide info or links to either of these events? Are they upcoming this year?

I think the NJ State Championship died with Comet Billiards. They hadn't run it the last year they were open either IIRC.

I believe Dragon Promotions is holding the "World Championship" in October this year in Clifton, NJ. I haven't heard much about it but someone did post that they saw it on the DP site.

Now you know what I know. Not much.
 
I'm not familiar with the NJ State Championship, but this sounds like an opportunity for different poolhall to sponsor and hold the event, no?

Is this the same event? If so, it has been canceled due to lack of added money.
