Bob, Do you have any idea why Earls was on a separate flight? If so was it because he is not vaccinated at all?? I cannot imagine how this has all come about, especially if he is totally unvaccinated... If that is true he should never have been allowed on the team in the first place...

I think they were all on the same flight but because the others tested negative and were vaccinated, they are allowed to participate. To me, this makes no sense as the vaccine is not an immunity vaccine, it only lessens the severity of the symptoms should you become infected. If they were on the same flight, the others are just as likely to become infected and transmit the virus as Earl. I agree though, vaccination should have been a prerequisite to participate to eliminate a situation such as this.
 
I am disappointed that Earl can't play, I was all excited about him playing.

The vaccine is a choice and you shouldn’t be forced to take it. But the rules in the UK and their consequences are what they are regardless if they’re stupid or not. He had enough time to just grab the J&J vaccine and make this outcome not possible. He didn’t, he rolled the dice, and crapped out. He let down his teammates with his choices. Not surprised.

Have you followed any of this? Earl wasn't 'singled out'. The UK has their covid regs which is their right. Earl chose not to vax and it didn't work out. Its not MR's doing, its not some crazy conspiracy. Had he been vaccinated that positive trace would not have required isolation.

How do you know Earl isn’t vaccinated? I find that surprising based on some of his commentary on his latest ‘Earl Strickland Presents’.

Been in contact with friend of Sky's. Said neither Sky or Earl are vax'd. Sky got lucky he didn't have a positive contact trace. Also said if the contact had omicron you have to isolate 10days regardless. So they're kinda lucky only one player got in a jam.

Thanks for letting me know. He’s been so vocal in his YT match commentary calling out people not wearing masks, pool halls not cleaning the balls or tables during a pandemic that it’s surprising he’s not vaxxed - too bad he won’t be playing.
